People come and go in our lives, some people leave no impression whatsoever and others leave some footprints we will never forgot and always try to follow. Some people move away but we still keep on touch and keep them close to our hearts, others move away but their words of wisdom can still be heard.
This recipe is dedicated to one of those special people that I met in my life, simple treat but every time I make them, I will be thinking of them.
Preheat oven to 375 Deg
- 1 cup of soft butter (2 sticks)
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of chocolate chips (Iike adding 1 cup of milk chips and 1 cup of white chips to change it around a bit) and during the holidays you can replace them with the green and red chips!
Whip all the wet ingredients (1-4) until nicely blended, then in a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (5-7) and then add to the wet ingredients. Once its all blended add the chocolate chips.
Drop a tablespoon at a time onto ungreased baking sheet and bake for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool for a few minutes before removing from baking sheet onto a wire rack.
