Old Bread getting a second chance…….

We all end up with old bread lying around, it either goes moldy and needs to be tossed out (especially here in South Florida), or it goes hard as a rock.

This one in particular I for some reason put it in the fridge so no strange growths appeared on it, but it was for sure old old and not something you would want to eat.

In my world thismeans, time for some herb crostini!

Tossed the sliced bread in a bowl with some olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and parmesan cheese, until every slice was evenly coated.

Placed on a baking pan and baked in the oven at 250 Deg F for 30 minutes, turning the pan around every 10 minutes.

I happened to have some lovely Truffle Mousse Pate in the fridge, perfect combination for a quick bite for lunch with my honey!
