There is nothing better than a birthday celebration as an excuse to cook a great meal in the middle of the week. <3
That’s exactly what I did today. So changed from work mode straight into cooking mode as soon as I walked into the house and made:
Mussels cooked in White Wine with onions, garlic and cilantro,
followed by some BBQ Skirt Steak, served with some sautéed Broccolini and creamy mashed potatoes…..
…..and finished it all off with some Rich Chocolate Dulce de Leche cake (aka Ramon Novarro) – check out my previous post.
Now time to cuddle up with a hot cup of tea and ready to enjoy a great evening with the windows open (yes dropping to low 40’s in South Florida) 🙂
